اثر منگنز بر ریزساختار انجمادی ‏چدن با گرافیت‌های کروی ‏

چکیده

در این تحقیق، اثر منگنز بر ریزساختار انجمادی چدن با گرافیت‌های کروی با استفاده از روش‌های تجربی ‏و نرم افزار ‏JMatPro‏ بررسی و ارزیابی شد. به این منظور نمونه‌های چدن با مقادیر مختلف 0.5، 5، 11 و ‏‏17 درصد وزنی منگنز به روش ریخته‌گری در ماسه تولید شد. مشخصه‌های ریزساختار مانند نوع فازهای ‏موجود، تعداد کره‌های گرافیتی، میزان کرویت کره‌های گرافیتی و کسر حجمی کاربیدها و گرافیت با ‏استفاده از میکروسکوپ نوری مجهز به نرم‌افزار پردازش تصویر ‏MIP4‎، میکروسکوپ الکترونی روبشی مجهز ‏به ‏EDS‏ و سختی‌سنجی برینل بررسی شد. در ادامه با استفاده از داده‌های نرم‌افزار ‏JMatPro‏ و پردازش ‏آن، چگونگی جدایش منگنز و تحلیل فازی در دماهای مختلف انجماد بررسی شد. مشاهدات میکروسکوپی ‏نشان داده است که حضور منگنز با مقادیر 5، 11 و 17 درصد وزنی در چدن سبب کاهش دماهای بحرانی ‏انجماد، ایجاد کاربیدهای یوتکتیکی، کاهش اندازه و تعداد کره‌های گرافیتی در ریزساختار نهایی می‌شود. ‏ارزیابی کمی گرافیت‌ها نشان داد که تعداد و درصد کرویت آنها با افزایش مقدار منگنز تا 17 درصد وزنی ‏به ترتیب تا حدود 60 و 28 درصد کاهش می‌یابد. نتایج بررسی جدایش عناصر منگنز و کربن در حین ‏انجماد با نرم‌افزار ‏JMatPro‏ نشان داده است که با افزودن 5 تا 11 درصد وزنی می‌توان به زمینه آستنیتی ‏با ترکیب مشابه فولادهای آستنیتی منگنزی به همراه توزیع مناسب‌تری از گرافیت‌های کروی شده و ‏کاربیدها دست یافت.  ‏
